Our five-part series of recorded sessions cover the information you need to know to set up and use the HMDA Component for ARTA Lending. All sessions assume you are an existing ARTA Lending user, familiar with basic ARTA Lending processing functions.
A HMDA Guide is available in PDF format on your ARTA Lending Installation CD. A copy is also available on our support web site. You may wish to print a copy of the guide in addition to viewing this series of recorded training sessions on the HMDA Component for ARTA Lending. Because of the size of most Adobe PDF files, we recommend you right-click the document link and save the PDF file to your computer to view off-line rather than clicking the link directly to view on-line within your browser.
Each session in the five-part series is described below.

View Session
Session # 4 – Working with the HMDA component – Non-ARTA Transactions
Recognizing that some HMDA-reportable transactions may be purchased loans, or for some other reason have been documented outside of ARTA Lending, the HMDA component provides the capability to collect HMDA data for that transaction. This session provides a demonstration of collecting data for a Non- ARTA Lending transaction and submitting it for geo-coding, rate spread calculation, and LAR edit check.
View Session
Session # 5 – Working with the HMDA component – Batch Processes
This session discusses batch functions available with the HMDA component that enable you to verify/update geo-codes and rate spread calculations, edit check LAR records, and request a HMDA report file be created. This session is not recommended for all users of the HMDA Component. Since batch functions will most commonly be performed by whoever at your institution is responsible for submission of the HMDA LAR record, the recommended participant for this session is the person(s) with responsibility for that function.
