Whitelist Instructions

To help ensure that our Software Notifications, E-News publications and individual e-mails promptly reach your "in box" please make sure to use the steps below to allow e-mails from both WoltersKluwerFS.com and WoltersKluwer.com.

Below are whitelisting instructions for several of the top e-mail clients.
Outlook 2003 | AOL | Yahoo | Hotmail | Gmail | Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0

Outlook 2003

Add us to your Safe Senders list:

1. From the Tools menu, select Options.
2. Select the "Preferences" tab.
3. Click "Junk E-mail".
4. On the "Safe Senders" tab, click "Add".
5. In the Add Address field, type @WoltersKluwerFS.com.
6. Click OK.
7. On the "Safe Senders" tab, click "Add".
8. In the Add Address field, type @WoltersKluwer.com.
9. Click OK.

AOL

New Subscribers
Add us to your AOL address book:

1. Click the "Mail" menu and select Address Book.
2. Wait for the "Address Book" window to pop up, then click the Add button.
3. Wait for the "Address Card for New Contact" window to load.
4. Paste the From Address in to the "Other E-Mail" field.
5. Make our From Address the "Primary E-Mail" address by checking the associated check box.
6. Click the Save button.

Existing Subscribers
Check to see if our e-mail is in your AOL Spam Folder, open the e-mail, and click the "This is Not Spam" button. Then, add the From Address to your Address Book as described above.

Yahoo

New Subscribers
Add us to your Safe Senders list: You will need to set up a filter to redirect our e-mail to your inbox:

1. Open your mailbox and in the upper right corner, click "Options and then select "Mail Options".
2. Select "Filters".
3. Click "Add".
4. Leave the Filter Name blank.
5. Update the "From header:" rule with the following 2 pieces of information: "contains" and WoltersKluwerFS.com.
6. Do NOT select the match case checkbox.
7. Click the Choose Folder pull down menu and select Inbox.
8. Click Add Filter.
9. Click "Add" again to create a second rule.
10. Leave the Filter Name blank.
11. Update the "From header:" rule with the following 2 pieces of information: "contains" and WoltersKluwer.com.
12. Do NOT select the match case checkbox.
13. Click the Choose Folder pull down menu and select Inbox.
14. Click Add Filter.

Existing Subscribers
Check to see if our e-mail is getting stuck in your Yahoo Bulk Folder, open the issue, and click the "Not Spam" button. Next, check if the e-mail address is in your "Blocked Addresses" list. If our From Address is on this list, select it and click the "Remove Block" button. Then, set up a filter as outlined above.

Hotmail

New Subscribers
Add us to your Hotmail Safe List:

1. Open your mailbox and click "Options" (upper right hand corner).
   ( If you are using the "full version" you will need to select "Advance Options" from the options menu.)
2. Select "Save and blocked senders".
3. Select "Safe senders".
4. Type @WoltersKluwerFS.com in the "Sender or domain to mark as safe:" field.
5. Click "Add to list".
6. Type @WoltersKluwer.com in the "Sender or domain to mark as safe:" field.
7. Click "Add to list"

Existing Subscribers
Check to see if our publication is in your Junk E-Mail Folder, open the issue, and click the "Not Junk" button. Next, check if the publication's e-mail address is in your Blocked Senders list. If our From Address is on this list, select it and click the "Remove" button. Then, add our From Address to your Safe List as outlined above.

Gmail

New Subscribers
Add us to your Gmail Contacts List:

1. Click "Contacts" along the left side of any Gmail page.
2. Click "Create Contact".
3. Type @WoltersKluwerFS.com in to the Primary E-mail field.
4. Click "Save."
5. Click "Create Contact" again.
6. Type @WoltersKluwer.com in to the Primary E-mail field.
7. Click "Save."

Existing Subscribers
How to check if our e-mail is in the "spam" folder:

1. Click "Spam" along the left side of any Gmail page.
2. Mark the box next to our e-mail.
3. Click "Not Spam" button along the top.

Mozilla Thunderbird 2.0

New Subscribers
Add us to your Safe Senders list: You will need to set up a filter to redirect our e-mail to your inbox.

1. From the "Tools" menu, select "Message Filters...".
2. Click "New".
3. Type "Wolters Kluwer Financial Services" for the Filter name.
4. Select "Match any of the following".
5. Select "From" and "contains" form the dropdown lists.
6. Type WoltersKluwerFS.com in the field following "contains".
7. Click the plus button [+]
8. On the second line, type WoltersKluwer.com in the field following "contains".
9. In the Peform these actions area, select "Move Message to" and the applicable Inbox.
10. Click OK to save this filter.

Existing Subscribers
Please check your Junk folder to see if our e-mails have been mistakenly placed there. To prevent this from happening in the future, you need to mark our e-mail as not junk. Do this by right-clicking on our e-mail and choose "Mark - As Not Junk."
