ARTA Deposit — Introductory Training

This introductory class is designed for new ARTA Deposit users. The workshop focuses on the fundamental skills needed to use ARTA Deposit effectively to produce account opening documentation.

Introduction to the ARTA Deposit Documentation System — New Implementation

Our approach to software training is instructor-led and participant-centered. Skills learned in the workshop are applied and reinforced in hands-on exercises. Practice time is incorporated into the course, including supervised lab time for participants to apply and augment their skills with the software.

Introductory training is required for first-time implementations of ARTA Deposit.

Course Content:

You will learn how to configure ARTA Deposit for the needs of your financial institution and how to open deposit accounts using the software. This includes:
  • Navigating and using the Help tools
  • Setting up your financial institution's information and users
  • Defining disclosure and account term policies for your deposit products
  • Processing deposit account transactions, including checking, savings, time accounts and IRAs using ARTA Deposit
  • Saving and recalling deposit account transactions
  • Using ARTA Deposit utilities
  • Identifying key activities to complete after training as you begin implementation of ARTA Deposit at your financial institution

Prerequisites:

  • The software must be installed and the Installation Test Procedures must be completed at least one week prior to the training.

  • The ARTA Deposit Setup Guide must be completed prior to the training.
  • Participants should feel comfortable using a mouse and with the basic features of Microsoft® Windows® applications.
  • At least one participant should have a thorough understanding of your organization's deposit policies, processes and products.
  • At least one participant should be familiar with your state and federal regulations.

Training Options:

  • Blended Learning - consists of six hours of live web training on Account Setup and self-paced recorded lessons on Account Transactions.
  • Group Classroom - consists of a two-day training at our St. Cloud, MN Training Center: 6815 Saukview Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56301 (Directions) with one or two participants per workstation. Please Note: Sessions may be cancelled due to low enrollment.
  • On-site - consists of a two-day training at the client's location for up to eight participants per session with approximately one day on Setup and one day on Operations.
  • Interactive Web Training - an option for more advanced or refresher training; consists of a live tailored training with focus on specific topics. Number of hours to be determined based on topics to be covered.

ARTA Deposit Account Operations Training for New Users

We recognize that turnover is a fact of life for all businesses, including financial institutions. This training provides a basic introduction to account opening activities using the ARTA Deposit Documentation System.

This training is available to financial institutions that already have ARTA Deposit installed and set up within their organization, but has people who are new to using ARTA Deposit to open accounts.

Course Content:

In this training we will address how to process many types of transactions using the ARTA Deposit System. This includes:
  • Consumer Checking
  • Consumer Savings
  • Consumer Certificates of Deposit
  • Business Checking with multiple signers and Authorization Resolution
  • New Traditional IRA
  • Support Documents - with and without an account opening
  • Print Disclosure without account opening
  • Review of appropriate documents

Prerequisites:

  • Your financial institution must already be using the ARTA Deposit System within your organization.
  • Participants should have a basic understanding of your organization's deposit policies, processes and products.
