TSoftPlus — Introductory Training

This introductory training is designed for new TSoftPlus users. The workshop focuses on the fundamental skills needed to use the software effectively to produce SBA transactions.

Introduction to TSoftPlus

Introductory training is required for first-time users of TSoftPlus.

We have several software training options to fit your financial institution’s training needs. No matter what your position is - packager, underwriter, department manager, or SBA loan closer - you will benefit from this training.

Course Content:

You will learn how to configure TSoftPlus™ for the needs of your financial institution and how to process transactions using the software. This includes:
  • Overview of the menus, support resources and online help
  • Using the Loan Status dashboard
  • Creating and retrieving party information
  • Using Eligibility determination and RMA ratio analysis
  • Utilizing the financial analysis worksheets and reports
  • Global cash flow analysis including affiliates
  • Completing the SBA Loan Authorization Wizard
  • Using the built-in online loan submission that connects with SBA’s E-Tran (PLP lenders and Express loans)
  • Processing application, closing and post closing SBA documents
  • Entering data directly on SBA documents
  • Previewing, printing and emailing the PDF files in a single document package
  • Saving and retrieving existing transactions
  • Entering a Quick Quote for fast response to prospects and how to convert into a loan at a later time
  • Reviewing additional features as applicable
  • TSoftPlus™ Administrators can learn how to use the setup tool for their organization’s information such as name, address, and charter
  • Setting up your security by adding the users who will have access to the software
  • Setting up SBA Lender Status, FIRS ID number and the 750 Date, Service Agent information
  • Maintaining the system

Prerequisites:

  • The software must be installed prior to the training event.
  • At least one participant must have a thorough understanding of the organization’s SBA lending policies, processes and products.
  • At least on participant must be familiar with applicable state and federal regulations.
  • Participants should feel comfortable with Microsoft® Excel and Word.
  • Participants should have a basic understanding of SBA lending.

Training Options:

  • Web-Based Recorded Training - consists of a self-paced narrated session.
  • Group Web Training – consists of approximately three hours live training with other financial institutions. Question and answer time.
  • Interactive Web Training – consists of approximately three hours live training with only your financial institution. Question and answer time.
  • On-site – consists of one-day training at the client’s location for up to eight participants per session.
